CNC Shaping
Our machinery also includes machines for keyway shaping, specifically vertical shapers. One is a conventional machine, and the other is computer-controlled. The CNC shaper operates in 3 axes (X, Y, C). This machine allows for machining multiple keyways on a single workpiece or creating a keyway wider than the tool by gradually widening to the sides. It also controls the feed into the cut with automatic withdrawal during the return stroke to achieve a better surface quality on the keyway.
